Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Store Opening Coordinator to oversee the development and execution of the new store program. You will manage coordinators, coordinate with partners, and ensure store openings align with company goals.

The role requires a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), at least two years in retail management, strong communication, and ability to travel to new stores as needed. Exempt position with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in management preferred.
• Minimum of two years of retail experience in a management role in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business or equivalent internal development program.

Responsibilities

• Manages, through the Store Opening Coordinators and staff, the ongoing operations and development of the new store program within the company’s mission and vision.
• Revise store layout based on changing requirements of supplies and corporate initiatives.
• Communicate with internal and external partners to keep projects on schedule.
• Develop and execute plans for coaching, training and development, evaluating, and supervising of store opening coordinators.
• Evaluate and develop improved techniques for inventory control, shipping and receiving, and efficient use of labor.
• Additional responsibilities to be determined as business needs arise.
