Job summary

Ollie is seeking a Senior Store Opening Coordinator to lead the development of new store openings. You will manage the program through coordinators, coordinate layouts, and keep projects on schedule.

Travel to new stores, including overnight stays, is required. The role reports to the Manager of New Store Operations and supports store operations with coaching and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in management preferred.
• Minimum of two years of retail experience in a management role.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all team members.
• Ability to comprehend and accurately complete all documentation.
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
• Ability to complete assignments in the time allotted.

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing operations and development of the new store program within the scope of the company’s mission and vision.
• Revise store layout based on changing requirements of supplies and corporate initiatives.
• Communicate with internal and external partners to keep projects on schedule.
• Develop and execute plans for all coaching, training and development, evaluating, and supervising of store opening coordinators.
• Evaluate and develop improved techniques for inventory control, shipping and receiving, and efficient use of labor.
• Additional responsibilities to be determined as business needs arise.

Job Title: Senior Store Opening Coordinator

Reports to: Manager of New Store Operations

Department: Store Operations

Exempt Status: Exempt

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages, through the Store Opening Coordinators and staff, the ongoing operations and development of the new store program within the scope of the company’s mission and vision.
• Revise store layout based on changing requirements of supplies and corporate initiatives.
• Communicate with internal and external partners to keep projects on schedule.
• Develop and execute plans for all coaching, training and development, evaluating, and supervising of store opening coordinators.
• Evaluate and develop improved techniques for inventory control, shipping and receiving, and efficient use of labor.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures frequently in excess of 70lb’s.
• Duties may frequently involve the use of ladders and stairs.
• Frequent standing, bending, stooping and kneeling.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel to new stores including overnight travel required.
