Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Senior Store Opening Coordinator to manage the new store program and lead the opening team.

You will supervise Store Opening Coordinators and partner with internal teams to ensure store layouts, inventories, and timelines align with the company’s mission. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), at least two years of retail management experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and willingness to travel to new stores, including

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in management preferred.
• Minimum of two years of retail experience in a management role or demonstrated equivalent learning.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all team members.
• Ability to accurately complete all documentation.
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
• Ability to complete assignments in the time allotted.

Responsabilidades

• Manages, through the Store Opening Coordinators and staff, the ongoing operations and development of the new store program within the scope of the company’s mission and vision.
• Revise store layout based on changing requirements of supplies and corporate initiatives.
• Communicate with internal and external partners to keep projects on schedule.
• Develop and execute plans for coaching, training and development, evaluating, and supervising of store opening coordinators.
• Evaluate and develop improved techniques for inventory control, shipping and receiving, and efficient use of labor.
• Additional responsibilities to be determined as business needs arise.

Primary Responsibilities

• Minimum of two years of retail experience in a management role in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business, or demonstration of skills and learning through an internal development program and selection process.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all team members.
• Ability to comprehend and accurately complete all documentation.
• Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
• Ability to complete assignments in the time allotted.

Physical Requirements

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures frequently in excess of 70lb’s.
• Duties may frequently involve the use of ladders and stairs.
• Frequent standing, bending, stooping and kneeling.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel to new stores including overnight travel required.
