Job summary

Roers Companies is seeking an energetic traveling Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team. The role is full-time, based out of Plymouth, MN, with field travel to oversee multifamily construction projects across sites.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, coordinating with engineers and architects, and ensuring compliance with all codes and safety standards. A strong background in site construction and value engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred.
• 5+ years of project/construction management in multifamily residential.
• Knowledge of building codes and ADA laws.
• Experience with site construction, precast, wood framing, interior finishes.
• Ability to lead a team and manage the entire construction lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary and final estimates for assigned projects.
• Develop and adhere to budgets, timelines, and quality plans.
• Coordinate with developers, engineers, architects on specs.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors for profitable agreements.
• Obtain permits and licenses from authorities.
• Plan resources and schedule to meet deadlines.
• Hire contractors and staff; allocate responsibilities.
• Conduct regular site visits and report progress.
• Ensure health, safety, and compliance with codes.
• Update schedules and manage RFIs and drawings.
