Job summary

Actalent in Roseville, MN seeks a Traveling Industrial Project Manager to lead large-scale industrial construction projects from preconstruction to closeout. You will drive financial performance, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction while coordinating owners, engineers, and subcontractors.

The role requires 5+ years in construction project management, CPM scheduling expertise, and frequent travel to project sites, with growth opportunities in mentoring engineers and supporting business

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience delivering industrial construction projects.
• Background in energy, industrial process, or water/wastewater projects is a plus.
• Able to travel frequently to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale industrial construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Own overall project success, including financial performance, schedule achievement, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Serve as primary contact for owners, engineers, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop, track, and implement change orders; oversee procurement activities.
• Develop and monitor detailed project schedules using CPM methodologies.
• Implement cost control processes including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Direct subcontractor management, coordination, and contract administration.
• Maintain project documentation (RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, progress reports).
• Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers; support business development.
