The Opportunity

This position as a Traveling Security Specialist Technician is ideal for an experienced low-voltage technician who enjoys traveling!

The Responsibilities

• Install, repair, test, and maintain security projects
• Represent Evergreen professionally onsite, providing excellent service and product training
• Ensure safety by complying with relevant State and Federal regulations
• Handle service orders and project administration
• Perform follow-up to ensure client readiness for inspections

The Necessities

• Ability to travel extensively
• Valid CPR/First Aid card
• Valid electrician certificate or trainee card
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Good communication skills for customer interaction
• Ability to call and schedule appointments, follow instructions, and understand code requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude
• Valid driver’s license and proof of minimum liability insurance
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing background, drug, and MVR screenings

Great to Have

• Relevant factory certifications such as Lenel, DAQ Access Control/IDS, Milestone CCTV, Pelco CCTV, Monitor Dynamics Access Control/IDS, AMAG, or various DDC and Building Utility Control Systems
• Experience working on government contracts or military bases
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government clearance
