Job summary

MIRATECH is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers with on-site service, training, and technical support in the Odessa/Midland area. You will commission SCR equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and provide detailed field reports documenting performance.

Qualifications

• Industrial instrumentation and controls including analog transmitters, temperature/pressure devices, PID controls.
• Proficiency with AC and DC circuits and relay logic.
• Strong analytical mindset and interest in engines, controls, emissions.
• Willingness to travel 60-75% overnight.
• Ability to work independently in a loosely structured environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Commission the total system scope on new MIRATECH installations.
• Perform routine maintenance and service on existing SCR equipment.
• Provide telephone support and parts identification.
• Coordinate site activities and participate in project meetings.
• Deliver post-commissioning training on operations and maintenance.
• Submit daily field reports to customers and internal staff.
• Follow up with customers after service work completion.
• Maintain knowledge of MIRATECH products and services.
• Plan and manage your work schedule efficiently.
• Maintain calibration of test equipment and tools.
