Dean Transportation is seeking a Mobile Service Truck Fleet Technician to maintain and repair school buses, trucks, vans, and forklifts across Michigan. The role requires diagnostic software proficiency, strong communication, and the ability to work with diverse teams on site and on road.

A candidate will perform engine tune-ups, brake and suspension work, electrical repairs, and on-site breakdown support while coordinating with the Regional Fleet Manager and drivers.

Qualificações

• Must have vehicle maintenance experience, preferably trucks/ diesel.
• Technical School degree in automotive, with 3–5 years of experience or equivalent.
• Must obtain state/mechanic licenses (ASE or MI) in Heavy Duty Brakes, Suspension/Steering, Diesel Engines, Drive Train, Electrical.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair vehicles per manufacturer instructions and regs.
• Perform road tests and inspect electrical, engine, and driveline systems.
• Inspect, service, and repair brakes, suspensions, transmissions, cooling, and exhaust systems.
• Repair body work and diagnose fuel, ignition, and emission issues.
• Install safety devices and accessibility equipment as needed.
• Prepare maintenance reports and consult with vendors and drivers.
