Job summary

Tilcon Connecticut Inc., a CRH company, has an immediate opening for a Scale Operator who will float across Connecticut locations, weighing trucks and processing transactions for aggregates and asphalt. The role requires accuracy, organization, and strong customer service as you coordinate deliveries and support trucking operations.

The successful candidate must be able to travel between sites, report to the POS Manager, obtain a Connecticut Public Weigher's License, and work both independently

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations across CT to provide coverage.

Responsibilities

• Weigh trucks and accurately process transactions for aggregates, asphalt, and other construction materials in compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate customer, job, product, trucking, and haul-rate information within the point-of-sale system.
• Process customer orders received by telephone and schedule material deliveries.
• Coordinate trucking activities between jobsites and production facilities.
• Accurately process and reconcile daily cash transactions.
• Prepare and maintain daily sales reports and monthly inventory reports.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers, truck drivers, vendors, and employees.
