Job summary

Erickson Senior Living seeks an experienced RN leader to provide clinical leadership across enterprise communities and to step into key leadership roles during transitions. The role includes interim management as needed and oversight of clinical outcomes across skilled nursing, long-term care, and memory care neighborhoods.

You will mentor Charge Nurses and clinical staff, contribute to QA/PI activities, and develop in-service education programs with Interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
• 3+ years in skilled nursing/continuing care
• 2+ years leadership/management/supervisory experience
• Eligible to obtain RN license where Erickson operates
• Ability to travel 100% and weekends if needed
• Available 24/7 for non-traditional hours when required

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership support across Erickson communities enterprise wide
• Oversee clinical outcomes and coordinate care for assigned neighborhoods
• Support comprehensive nursing services for Continuing Care residents or home health patients
• Collaborate with department directors to meet residents’ care needs
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Charge Nurses and clinical staff
• Facilitate and analyze quality-of-care indicators and PI activities
• Develop and deliver in-service and continuing education programs with Clinical Leaders and interdisciplinary teams

Job description

• Provide clinical leadership support across Erickson Senior Living communities enterprise wide
• Step into key leadership positions and support teams during critical transitions
• Provide interim leadership as Clinical Manager, Wellness Manager, Staff Development Coordinator/Nurse Educator, Home Care Clinical Manager, or ADON if needed
• Oversee clinical outcomes and coordinate, implement, and oversee clinical care for assigned skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, or memory care neighborhoods
• Support comprehensive nursing services for Continuing Care residents or home health patients
• Collaborate with department directors to meet residents’ care needs
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Charge Nurses, Licensed Nurses, Care Associates, and clinical leaders
• Facilitate and analyze quality-of-care indicators including wound care, infection control, falls risk reduction, pain management, weight loss, and dehydration
• Participate in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement activities to monitor and improve outcomes
• Develop, implement, and provide in-service and continuing education programs with Clinical Leaders and interdisciplinary team members

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in skilled nursing facility/continuing care environment or Certified Home Health is required
• Minimum of 2 years leadership/management/supervisory experience required
• Be able to obtain an RN license in states where Erickson operates
• Be able to travel 100% of the time and weekends, if necessary
• Be available 24/7 to support clinical care needs with non-traditional hours for the community assignment if needed
