Job summary

MPI is seeking Traveling Superintendents to support a diverse retail and commercial construction portfolio across the Southeast. The role offers direct visibility with leadership, hands-on field responsibility, and growth with a rapidly expanding contractor.

Candidates should have 5+ years of ground-up commercial superintendent experience, strong scheduling and field coordination, and a willingness to travel throughout the Southeast (with occasional projects in Texas). Georgia-resident preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
• Proven experience managing ground-up construction projects.
• Retail project experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast; some projects in Texas.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations on retail and commercial projects.
• Lead project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and site logistics.
• Ensure safety, schedule, and quality expectations are met.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, architects, and trade partners.
• Conduct site meetings, inspections, and progress reporting.
• Identify and resolve field issues to minimize delays.
• Oversee closeout activities and turnover.
