Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to lead on-site activities for commercial retail projects in the Southeast. You will ensure milestones are met, coordinate with subs and vendors, and uphold safety and quality standards across multiple sites.

The role requires at least 5 years in supervision, a proven track record on ground-up retail builds, and willingness to travel through the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven experience delivering ground-up retail construction projects.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the Southeast region.
• Strong background in quality control, jobsite safety, and subcontractor management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities and ensure project milestones are met.
• Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company standards at all times.
• Monitor construction schedules and budgets, making adjustments as needed to stay on track.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and address any issues promptly.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports to project managers and stakeholders.
• Resolve any on-site challenges or conflicts to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Ensure all work adheres to project specifications and local building codes.
