Job summary

MPI is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead all on-site activities from mobilization to closeout on complex retail projects across the Southeast. You will manage subcontractors, schedules, safety programs, and quality control, while coordinating field operations to stay on time and within budget.

You will build strong client and partner relationships, conduct regular progress meetings, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction.
• Excellent leadership, scheduling, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
• Strong safety and quality control knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout.
• Manage subcontractors, schedules, safety programs, and quality control efforts.
• Coordinate daily field operations to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain relationships with clients, project managers, and trade partners.
• Conduct project meetings and provide progress updates to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive execution of retail remodels, expansions, open-store renovations, and ground-up developments.
