Job summary

Leidos seeks a Traveling Software/Radar Engineer to join a diverse team solving radar-oriented problems for defense, space, cyber and commercial fields. You will support field testing, contribute to documentation for installation and operation, and collaborate with engineers during system rollout.

Candidates hold a STEM degree (ABET-accredited) with 2–4 years of experience or a master’s with less experience, and must be willing to travel up to 75% for CONUS/OCONUS events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field from an ABET-accredited school plus 2–4 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with less than 2 years of prior experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to test events CONUS and OCONUS for extended periods and on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Support advanced technology radar programs through local field testing and CONUS/OCONUS test events.
• Develop documentation to support installation and operation of radar systems for training of new personnel.
• Collaborate with other engineers during system installation and operation; onsite network configuration and debugging as needed.
