Leidos Defense Sensor in Huntsville, AL seeks a Traveling Software/Radar Engineer to join a diverse team and solve complex sensor and radar problems. The role requires up to 75% travel to CONUS/OCONUS test events and hands-on support for installation and operation of systems.

Candidate will support advanced technology radar programs through local field testing and both CONUS and OCONUS test event support. When not traveling or testing the candidate will be involved with developing documentation to support installation and operation of the systems to aid in training of new personnel. In this role you will work closely with other skilled engineers during system installation and operation. Onsite network configuration and debugging will be required while working alongside military personnel. Minor bash script creation and/or modification may be required to establish a repeatable and simple solution to support day-to-day activities.

Pay Range: Pay Range $69,550.00 - $125,725.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
