Job summary

Aldridge Electric is seeking a Traveling Quality Manager (Mission Critical) to lead QA/QC for projects in Monroe, LA and surrounding regions. You will ensure installation workmanship and materials meet contract requirements, while guiding teams and subcontractors in QMS adherence.

Ideal candidates have 7–10+ years in construction QA/QC, ISO 9001 expertise, and strong leadership. This role involves travel to job sites and providing training and performance feedback to staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 7-10+ years in construction management and/or QA/QC, with experience as Project QC Manager on major projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, auditing procedures, USACE CQM, and project quality planning.
• Leading QA/QC training and audits; ability to interpret QMS and client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement corporate QA/QC standards within the assigned region.
• Review and approve project QCPs and ITPs.
• Ensure compliance with QMS and client requirements.
• Plan and perform internal audits on regional projects and suppliers.
• Track and close NCRs and corrective actions.
• Provide QA performance reports and trend analyses.
• Support project teams with QMS interpretation and training.
• Facilitate quality coordination meetings and reviews.
• Evaluate subcontractors and vendors for quality compliance.
• Lead CAPA investigations and root cause analysis.
• Identify improvements for QA/QC processes and documentation.
• Assist in QA/QC training for regional personnel.
• Travel for jobsite visits as required.
• Conduct regular performance conversations with direct reports.
