Job summary

DLB Associates seeks a Quality Construction Manager II to serve as the on-site advocate for quality, schedule, and scope across mission-critical projects. The role combines construction management with owner representation, requiring strong leadership in QAQC for electrical, mechanical, and controls systems at L1–L3 phases.

Travel is extensive (75–100% nationwide); location near a major U.S. airport is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline.
• Five or more years of related experience preferred.
• NFPA 70E/OSHA training as required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the contractor/owner’s on-site advocate ensuring quality control and programmatic adherence.
• Lead proactive risk identification and escalation to maintain momentum and readiness for commissioning.
• Coordinate with owner, designers, contractors, equipment manufacturers and vendors to ensure consistent interpretation of quality standards.
• Monitor field execution to ensure installations meet drawings, specs, and codes.
