Job summary

McGough Construction CO, LLC is seeking a seasoned Quality Control Manager for a federal project with travel. The role requires onsite presence during construction and oversight of QA/QC activities, with emphasis on waterproofing, air barriers, curtain wall systems, and related exterior assemblies.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in field leadership (Quality Control, Superintendent, or PM), strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate subcontractors and testing

Qualifications

• 5+ years in field leadership roles such as Quality Control, Superintendent, or Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement the QA/QC management system at site.
• Coordinate quality inspections with site trades and vendors.
• Coordinate all factory and on-site testing.
• Coordinate all receipt inspections and deliveries.
• Manage subcontractor reporting of environmental materials.
• Distribute QA/QC documentation to partners and ensure quality requirements.
• Maintain as-built drawings on site.
• Ensure quality activities meet codes and standards.
• Coordinate with project teams on QA/QC decisions.
• Lead QA/QC weekly meetings with subcontractors.
• Compile and complete QA/QC documentation for handover.
