Job summary

McGough Construction seeks a Quality Control Manager to oversee QA/QC requirements for the project. You will lead the QA/QC program, coordinate with the site construction manager, and chair weekly QA/QC meetings with subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met.

The role requires 7-10+ years in QA/QC with a four-year degree in construction management or engineering. Experience with Procore/Bluebeam and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction field leadership roles (Quality Control, Superintendent, or Project Manager).
• Experience leading teams and coaching fellow team members.
• Strong knowledge of building constructability across all definable features of work.
• Experience with subcontracted testing firms and scope buyout for those sections.
• Completion of the Construction Quality Management (CQM) within the last five years, or ability to obtain within 90 days of onboarding.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the QA/QC program at site in line with contracting office requirements.
• Review subcontractor quality procedures and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate QA/QC site weekly meetings with subcontractors.
• Oversee inspections, testing, and documentation; manage mockups and first work inspections.
• Maintain QA/QC documents for as-built handover and closeout.
