Job summary

McGough is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC for a construction project in Texas. The role oversees QA/QC requirements with authority to act on quality matters, and requires practical knowledge of waterproofing, air barriers, and curtain wall systems.

The candidate will manage QA/QC programs, coordinate inspections, and ensure documentation is maintained for handover. On-site leadership and collaboration with subcontractors are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction field leadership roles (Quality Control, Superintendent or PM).
• Experience leading teams, coaching, and developing staff.
• Strong knowledge of building constructability across all features of work.
• Experience managing subcontracted testing firms and scope buyout.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Procore.
• Completion of CQM within last 5 years or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Create & implement the QA/QC management system on site.
• Define and establish quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
• Review contracting office requirements and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with site construction manager on quality issues.
• Chair QA/QC site weekly meetings with subcontractors.
• Distribute QA/QC documentation to site partners and verify requirements.
