Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting seeks a Quality Control Superintendent for nationwide data center construction projects in the United States. This is a full-time traveling on-site role leading on-site QC programs for mechanical scopes and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure conformance to project documents and codes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality control or field supervision within mechanical construction.
• Experience on data centers or other mission-critical projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, piping, and mechanical systems installation.
• Familiarity with commissioning processes and turnover documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and submittals.
• Willingness and ability to travel full-time to project sites nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage on-site quality control programs for mechanical scopes of work
• Ensure all installations comply with contract documents, specifications, and applicable codes
• Conduct inspections, track deficiencies, and drive resolution through closeout
• Coordinate with project management, field teams, and subcontractors to maintain quality standards
• Maintain and manage QA/QC documentation, reports, and turnover packages
• Support pre-functional and functional testing, working closely with commissioning teams
• Identify potential quality risks and proactively implement corrective actions
• Participate in client meetings, inspections, and audits as needed
