Job summary

Great Place Construction is seeking a Traveling Project Superintendent to lead on-site management, coordinate activities, and uphold safety, quality control and project delivery standards in Sioux Falls, SD. You will evaluate plans, track progress, mentor the on-site team and collaborate with subcontractors to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel as needed to project locations for duration of project.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced understanding of construction means, methods and practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or working toward a bachelor's degree in construction or engineering or 10 years trade experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience with 3 of those years having been in supervisory position.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools.
• Valid DL and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with design consultants to resolve discrepancies in plans and specifications.
• Develop and maintain interval schedules.
• Maintain site logistics.

• Implement project/company requirements for safety, quality control, risk, compliance, etc.
• Administer daily project tracking and reporting.
• Coach and mentor balance of on-site team.
