Job summary

Great Place Construction is seeking a Superintendent in Training in Sioux Falls, SD. You will monitor projects through their lifecycle, oversee on-site administration, safety, and coordination with the management team.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction site management or related education is preferred.
• Knowledge of quality and safety guidelines for construction sites is desirable.
• Ability to read and review construction plans and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• On-site project administration and coordination.
• Review project documents and plans.
• Daily site inspections and logging of progress.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance.

GPC is seeking a Superintendent in Training. This person will monitor construction projects for their entire lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• On-Site Project Administration
• Document review
• Daily inspection/logging
• Safety inspection
• Inspection coordination
• Schedule management/coordination
• Cost management
• Personnel Management - Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback.
• Technical management/participation with field personnel in self performed trade work, demolition, concrete, carpentry, etc.
• Subcontractor coordination
• Quality control
• Coordination with project management team
• Provide progress and project updates.
• Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
