Great Place Construction in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Estimator to join our pre-construction team. You will generate project estimates, perform quantity takeoffs, and coordinate bid documents.

You should have a bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering (or working toward one) and at least 3 years of estimating experience, with familiarity in On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, ISqFT. We offer a hybrid work arrangement and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or working toward one in construction/engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of related estimating experience in commercial projects.
• Familiarity with commercial estimating techniques and software: On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, ISqFT.

Responsibilities

• Generate project estimates and takeoffs for bidding opportunities.
• Solicit and coordinate with specialty contractors to obtain quotes.
• Maintain contractor database and assist in RFP preparation.
• Support estimating software/database and update bid documents with stakeholders.
• Actively participate in improving processes and outcomes.
