The Superintendent is expected to manage construction and close construction projects that generate profits for the company. This role is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day management of several projects and onsite operators, tradesman and laborers. Directs, schedules, supervises and coordinates activities of operators and tradesmen to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities and personnel. Provides overall management of construction project sites and procurement through final acceptance, while ensuring project safety. Maximizes profits and controls costs to maintain stability and growth of the organization by performing the following duties personally and through subordinates.

Four (4) years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
