Job summary

Cleveland Construction, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Project Superintendent to serve as the primary on-site leader for high profile commercial projects across the United States.

This role requires frequent travel and extended stays at job sites to drive construction from initial setup through turnover. You will oversee day-to-day activities, coordinate subs, conduct safety meetings, review plans, and ensure compliance with schedules and specifications.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience as a GC Superintendent on large scale commercial projects.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints and MEP plans; proficient in CM software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities, manage project schedules, submit daily logs and field reports.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors, vendors, and trade labor to maintain productivity and contract compliance.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings, enforce OSHA regulations, and maintain a secure job site for all workers and visitors.
• Inspect workmanship and materials to verify adherence to project plans and specifications.
• Manage municipal and jurisdictional inspections and drive punch list completions.
