Job summary

JE Dunn Construction's Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Traveling Project Manager to lead complex industrial projects nationwide from California. You will oversee safety, schedule, cost and subcontractor coordination while aligning with the firm’s vision.

The role requires 5+ years in construction management, a bachelor’s in CM or engineering, and travel readiness. Base compensation in CA ranges from $125,300 to $156,000, with potential bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Ability to lead safety, schedule, budget and subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the project management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Manages prestart, preconstruction takeoff, scope development and bid packages.
• Leads buyout, subcontractor pricing, and change request processes.
• Sets up submittal schedules and ensures timely approvals with architects/engineers.
• Prepares cost and margin forecasts and supports budget development.
• Leads monthly project reviews and coordination meetings.
• Interfaces with risk management and legal counsel as needed.
