Job summary

Talently is seeking a Traveling Project Engineer/Coordinator to support hotel renovation projects from planning through completion. You will travel to properties nationwide, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, hotel teams, and brand partners to keep projects on schedule and focused on guest experience.

You will track schedules and budgets, organize documentation, assist with bidding and onboarding, and ensure adherence to brand standards while maintaining clear communication

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hospitality, construction, or project coordination experience.
• Strong organizational skills to manage timelines and documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for coordinating with hotel teams and vendors.
• Comfort working onsite in active hotels and construction environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.
• Ability to learn and interpret construction plans, scopes, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support hotel renovation projects from planning through completion.
• Travel onsite to inspect progress and keep projects moving forward.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, architects, hotel teams, and brand partners.
• Track schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
• Organize project documentation, punch lists, reports, approvals, and scopes.
• Help sequence construction work to minimize guest disruption.
• Maintain clear communication among managers, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Identify issues early, support risk mitigation, and drive practical solutions.
• Assist with bidding, vendor onboarding, compliance, and adherence to brand standards.
