Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a Project Engineer for a full-time traveling assignment supporting an Advanced Technology project, including Data Center market segments.

The role focuses on tracking cost data, monitoring resources, and ensuring projects stay within budget while coordinating with engineering, field crews, and management. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of construction engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 5+ years construction engineering experience.
• Experience in resource monitoring techniques (cost accounting, basic estimating) and construction tech/process systems.
• Specialized knowledge of design-build or other alternative build techniques.

Responsibilities

• Meet with engineering and field crews to review production schedules and confirm materials, equipment, and resources.
• Review drawings, specs, material requirements, and project data.
• Provide technical input for project work plan and scheduling.
• Identify budget and production risks that could impact schedule or cost.
• Update project schedule weekly for owner and management reporting.
• Manage RFIs and project quantities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedules, and crews.
