Job summary

Ladders, a leader in Real Estate & Construction, is seeking a Traveling Procurement Manager to oversee procurement across materials, subcontractors, equipment, and services for construction projects. Remote role with travel as needed; you will drive disciplined sourcing, competitive bid processes, vendor performance, and adherence to procurement procedures, partnering with Legal on contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or economics
• 8+ years of relevant experience in procurement and materials management in a construction-related industry
• Supervisory experience is required
• Experience in a mission-critical environment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Procure supplies, equipment, and services from vendors to meet project requirements
• Manage procurement processes and ensure compliance with established procedures
• Oversee procurement activities for materials, subcontractors, and services
• Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, and contract execution
• Negotiate commercial terms and collaborate with internal stakeholders and Legal
• Review estimates and supplier capabilities to support project objectives

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Traveling Procurement Manager to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space.

This role will lead procurement activities across materials, subcontractors, equipment, and services in support of construction projects. The ideal candidate will help drive disciplined sourcing, competitive bidding, vendor performance, and compliance with procurement procedures. This position also partners closely with internal stakeholders and Legal to support contract execution, commercial negotiations, and project success.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $175,000 – $231,000 annually

• Procure supplies, equipment, and services from vendors to meet project requirements
• Manage procurement processes and ensure compliance with established procedures
