Job summary

Heidelberg USA in the Central United States is seeking a Press Instructor to educate customers on Manroland sheetfed presses, color measurement devices, and related peripherals to ensure equipment runs as designed and customers stay satisfied. You will train operators during installations, support makeready optimization, troubleshoot service calls, and stay current with industry trends and software.

This role requires extensive travel and strong communication.

Qualifications

• The role requires travel between 67% and 100% of the time and residency within Central United States.
• 3 to 5 years of experience operating and/or training on Manroland sheetfed presses.
• Strong computer knowledge: Windows, macOS, and networking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and instruction for customers on Manroland sheetfed press equipment and related technologies.
• Support successful commissioning and operator instruction during press installations.
• Train customers on print color management and optimization of makeready processes.
• Perform efficient troubleshooting during print application service calls.
• Communicate professionally with customers at all organizational levels regarding press operation, performance, and productivity improvements.
• Stay current with print application training, industry trends, and the latest software innovations.
• Promote training, consulting, software, and performance improvement services to customers.
• Provide support related to consumables and best practices for optimal press performance.
• Assist with onsite productivity evaluations and process improvement initiatives.
