Job summary

Memphis Goodwill Inc. is seeking an IT Technician to support installation, maintenance, and repair of hardware and software in a multi-site retail environment.

You will monitor POS systems, assist store management with daily processing, and ensure reliable technology infrastructure across locations. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of technology experience, familiarity with Windows systems, Active Directory, and Office 2010, plus a valid driver’s license for site visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of associate’s degree or industry certifications required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of technology experience, with POS and retail experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer, network, and software systems (Windows, Server, Active Directory, Office).

Responsibilities

• Supports installation, maintenance, and repair of hardware, software, and related equipment.
• Monitors POS systems and external sales reporting for accurate communications.
• Sets up POS and technology infrastructure at all locations.
• Troubleshoots network and software issues in a timely manner.
• Implements and monitors network security procedures with IT Manager.
• Travels to organizational sites to perform duties as needed.
