Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to support our NJ clinical lab office locations. The role involves drawing blood, processing specimens, and coordinating with the LIS system. Flexibility with travel to satellite sites is required to meet operational needs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 2+ years in phlebotomy; NHA certification is preferred. This is a full-time position with scheduling Monday–Friday and rotating weekends in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification through the NHA preferred; CLA may be required for some locations.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood cultures using aseptic technique with adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients.
• Process Stat specimens per SOP.
• Collect and label specimens for transport to main lab.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies in the phlebotomy area.
• Travel to satellite locations as needed for staffing.
