Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for a unique role combining in-pharmacy duties with driving to remote kiosk locations. You will refill kiosks, assist pharmacists, and prep orders for shipment from the pharmacy.

This on-site role requires an active license, PTCB/NHA cert, and a clean MVR. Expect up to 12-hour shifts, driving across regional kiosks, and collaboration with leadership and staff pharmacists.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of employment.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of working with computer and web-based tools.
• Valid and active driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.
• Clean driving record that passes Amazon’s Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company vehicle.
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and discard inventory for return.
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items as permitted by state board.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by following procedures and regulations.
• Coordinate with Leadership to ensure correct medications in orders.
• Operate automated machinery to pre-sort and package meds.
• Fill and manage exception trays with medications.
• Move orders through dispense to quality control stages.
• Count and label prescription vials for dispensing and shipping.
