Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician to help customers get medications and stay healthy. The role involves traveling to remote kiosk locations, assisting pharmacists, and preparing inventory and shipments with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The position requires a valid pharmacy technician license, national certification, and good computer skills. A flexible schedule and potential shifts outside normal hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted pharmacy technician license in state of employment.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of working with computer and web based tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company vehicle.
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, and collect discarded inventory for return.
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by following procedures and regulations.
• Work with leadership to ensure correct medications are in the correct orders.
• Operate automated machinery for pre-sorting and packaging medications.
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
• Move Amazon Pharmacy orders through workflow from dispense to quality control.
