Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to help customers access medications and services efficiently. The role involves traveling to remote kiosk locations, refilling kiosks, and assisting pharmacists with prescriptions, while maintaining safety and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The position supports transitioning orders through dispensing and quality control, counting and labeling vials, and packing shipments.

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) is required.
Six+ months of experience with computer and web-based tools.

Responsibilities

Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company vehicle.
Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return.
Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures and regulations.
Work daily with Leadership to ensure correct medications are in orders.
Run automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through workflow stages from dispense to QA.
Count and label prescription vials and bulk items.
Pack and ship completed orders with correct labels on dispensers and boxes.
Sort and triage boxes to ship at the right time.
Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.
