Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician to drive between the in-pharmacy location and kiosk sites, refill kiosks, and support order fulfillment. You will prepare inventory shipments, assist pharmacists, and maintain a safe, compliant pharmacy environment while working across diverse shifts.

The role blends on-the-road independence with in-pharmacy teamwork, including packaging medications for shipping and ensuring accurate labeling and delivery for customers.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of working with computer and web-based tools experience.
• Valid and active driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor.
• Ability to read and understand English labeling on product cartons and prescription labels.
• Clean driving record as per Amazon MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Drive from Pharmacy to remote Kiosk locations with company vehicle.
• Refill Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return.
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures and regulations.
• Work daily with Leadership to ensure correct medications are in orders.
• Run automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
• Transition orders through workflow stages from dispense to QC.
• Count and label prescription vials and bulk items.
• Pack and ship completed orders with correct labels.
• Sort and ship boxes to the right destination on time.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and staff with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in the pharmacy.
