Job summary

42 North Dental in the Boston area seeks a Part-Time Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support clinicians across multiple Worcester locations. You'll greet patients, assist chairside and help ensure smooth patient flow while traveling weekly on Fridays and Saturdays.

Reliable transportation, ability to travel between Gentle Dental and Trolley Yard sites, and adherence to infection control are essential; mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• C.D.A. preferred.
• Strong verbal skills.
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state.
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned

The Part-Time Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant will provide clinical support to facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care, and maintain communication between dentists, patients, and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience.

Our Specialty team travels to multiple locations. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel required. Mileage reimbursement provided.

This is aPart-Time role for Fridays and Saturdays and will travel within our Worcester locations (Gentle Dental and Trolley Yard).
