Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Part-Time Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant to provide clinical support across multiple locations. You will assist dentists, coordinate patient flow, and help maintain a positive patient experience during travel.

The role requires reliable transportation to travel between Groton, Bloomfield, Enfield, and Waterbury, CT, exposure of radiographs, chairside assisting, and strict infection-control practices in compliance with CDC/OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• C.D.A. preferred.
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state.
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide post operative instructions and patient education
• Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned

The Part-Time Traveling Orthodontic Dental Assistant will provide clinical support to facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care, and maintain communication between dentists, patients, and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience.

Our Specialty team travels to multiple locations. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel required. Mileage reimbursement provided.

This role will travel to the following locations: Groton, Bloomfield, Enfield, and Waterbury.

Hourly Rate
