Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a Traveling Periodontal Dental Assistant to support multiple Massachusetts locations. You will chairside assist, greet patients, expose radiographs, and provide post-operative instructions while traveling between Belmont, Methuen, North Andover, Wakefield, Waltham, and Worcester.

Must have reliable transportation and knowledge of dental procedures; CDA preferred. Mileage reimbursement is provided. Hourly rate: $34–$38 USD.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to travel between locations.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• C.D.A. preferred.
• Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state.
• Embrace a positive team approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for treatment
• Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
• Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
• Provide post operative instructions and patient educationPrepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
• Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
• Maintain dental supply inventory
• Perform other related job duties as assigned

The Traveling Periodontal Dental Assistant will provide clinical support to facilitate the relationship between our patients and dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care, and maintain communication between dentists, patients, and administrative staff to ensure a positive patient experience.

Our Specialty team travels to multiple locations. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel required. Mileage reimbursement provided.

This role will travel to the following locations: Belmont, Methuen, North Andover, Wakefield, Waltham, and Worcester.
