Job summary

PDS Optical is seeking a Travel Optician based out of Louisville, KY, with 80%+ travel across the United States and territories. The role supports Veterans at VA Medical Centers, providing eyewear fitting, dispensing, and patient care.

The position offers a base pay of $24–$26 per hour, with potential commissions. Typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, in a professional VA medical environment.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver's License.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Experience with lensometers, pupilometers and optical software is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Knowledge of VA optical benefits is a plus.

Salary Range: $24.00 To $26.00 Hourly
