Job summary

PDS Optical is seeking an experienced travel optician to join our team based in Manhattan VA and travel across the United States and territories. This full-time position offers 32 to 35 dollars per hour, with 80%+ travel and weekends.

You will provide friendly, professional eye care to Veterans and support our mission of GREAT Veteran CARE! Responsibilities include fitting, adjusting, repairing eyewear, and ensuring high customer satisfaction while complying with security checks.

Qualifications

• Licensed Optician with ABO certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience fitting, adjusting, repairing and selling eyewear.
• Proficient with lensometers, pupilometers and computers.
• Knowledge of VA benefits and discounts for optical services.
• Willing to travel 80%+ across the United States.

• Full-time core hours | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Weekend travel required
• Pay Range: $32-$35/hour
