Job summary

PDS Optical in Tampa, FL is seeking a Traveling Optician to support Veterans through the Tampa VA and statewide assignments. The role requires extensive travel (80%+) across the United States and Territories, with a typical schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and competitive hourly pay.

You will fit, adjust, repair, and dispense eyewear with precision, deliver outstanding patient care, and collaborate with a dedicated optical team while meeting VA security and background

Qualifications

• Willing to travel 80%+ across the United States and US Territories.
• Experience with fitting, adjusting, repairing and dispensing eyewear.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and meet VA security requirements.
