Job summary

Wallick Communities in Medina, Ohio is hiring a Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up multifamily projects and occupied renovations. This hands-on field role requires managing safety, subcontractors, schedule, quality and cost across diverse sites with long travel assignments typically lasting 9 to 36 months.

You will read drawings, coordinate trades, and ensure on-site organization while staying near project sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction field leadership.
• Experience with multifamily projects.
• Ground-up construction or occupied renovation experience.
• Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project experience.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations from mobilization through turnover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, site logistics and trade sequencing.
• Conduct site walks, verify progress and address field issues before delays or added cost.
• Read and work from drawings, specifications, contracts and project schedules; communicate with design consultants.
• Maintain an organized, professional and accountable job site.
