Job summary

Wallick is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead multifamily projects across Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois and North Carolina. This is a hands-on field role requiring on-site leadership, safety enforcement, and coordination of subcontractors.

The position involves mobilization through turnover, frequent overnight travel, and staying near project sites for extended periods. Ground-up and occupied renovation work are both part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction field leadership in multifamily projects.
• Experience leading ground-up or occupied renovation work.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs and contracts.
• Strong safety, scheduling, quality and cost-control skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations from mobilization through turnover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, site logistics and sequencing.
• Enforce safety standards and quality; manage punch lists and deficiency logs.
• Coordinate phasing for occupied renovations with resident communication and safety.
• Maintain organized, professional job site and accurate field records.
