Job summary

The Neiders Company LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to perform hands-on maintenance and repairs across multiple apartment communities in the Seattle area. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems, respond to service requests, and help uphold safety and quality standards.

Travel between nearby communities is required. The role emphasizes accountability, quality workmanship, and delivering legendary service to residents and coworkers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CAMT/EPA 608 Type II/CPO preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry issues independently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills for resident interactions.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of onsite team.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of maintenance tasks and ensure timely, accurate completion.
• Prioritize service requests based on urgency and resident needs.
• Maintain records of work and update work orders.
• Respond professionally to resident maintenance requests and communicate timelines.
• Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
• Inspect and maintain property equipment and safety systems.
