AnnieMac Home Mortgage in Eden Prairie, MN is hiring a full‑time sales professional to originate mortgage loans outside the company’s offices, with travel 80%.

You will build relationships with realtors and other partners, guide borrowers through applications, explain loan options, and manage the process from pre‑qualification to closing, while meeting licensing and underwriting requirements and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have appropriate state license or certificate (varies by state).
• Thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies.
• Familiar with credit underwriting and property eligibility requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs and private investors.
• Knowledge of local, state and national laws (e.g., Truth-in-Lending, RESPA).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze financial information.

Responsibilities

• Sell mortgage loans to customers away from AnnieMac Home Mortgages offices; travel 80% of the time.
• Generate new business by building relationships with realtors, real estate agents, title/escrow officers, financial advisers, CPAs, and others.
• Attend closings and open houses; conduct lead-generating activities.
• Take borrower information and fill out loan applications.
• Develop referral partnerships to generate new customers.
• Analyze borrowers' income and debt; pre-qualify mortgage amounts.
