Job summary

AnnieMac Home Mortgage in Waldorf, MD is seeking a Full Time External Mortgage Loan Originator to establish referral relationships and secure a steady loan volume from real estate brokers and other sources.

Under the Branch Manager, you will sell mortgage loans away from AnnieMac Home Mortgage offices, build partnerships with realtors, and participate in closings, seminars, and other lead-generation activities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state mortgage license or certificate.
• Knowledge of mortgage pricing and underwriting requirements.
• Familiar with laws and regulations (RESPA, Truth-in-Lending, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Primary duty is to sell mortgage loans outside of office locations.
• Build and maintain relationships with realtors and other professionals.
• Attend closings and open houses, and conduct lead-generating activities.
• Take borrower information and complete loan applications.
• Counsel borrowers on loan products, closing costs, and payments.
• Maintain contact with borrowers and referral partners from application to closing.
