Job summary

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to drive outside sales and build strong relationships with realtors and other professionals in the Cleveland area.

You will guide borrowers through income verification, qualification, and loan selection, while presenting clear closing cost and payment scenarios. A license is required and a proactive, sales-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state mortgage license or certificate.
• Strong communication and active sales skills are required.
• Knowledge of mortgage products and underwriting guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell mortgage loans to customers outside AnnieMac Home Mortgage offices.
• Build and maintain relationships with realtors, title/escrow officers, financial advisers, CPAs, and other professionals.
• Attend closings, open houses, and lead-generation activities.
• Take borrower information and complete loan applications.
• Analyze borrowers’ income and debt to pre-qualify amounts.
• Explain loan products and illustrate monthly payments and closing costs.
• Collect financial documents and related application materials.
• Provide disclosures such as Truth-in-Lending and Good Faith Estimate.
• Advise borrowers on credit issues and options to clear problems.
• Maintain regular contact with borrowers and partners through the process.
• Order required legal documents and review HUD-1 settlements prior to closing.
