Layton Construction seeks an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee planning, management, and execution on assigned building projects. You will strive for profitability, uphold safety, and meet owner expectations while coordinating with multiple departments.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management and at least four years in data center project management. Strong negotiation, scheduling, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum four years of project management experience within Data Center Construction.
• Has a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Has an in-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes.
• Understands estimating concepts and change orders.
• Reads and understands plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of estimates and budgets.
• Lead the project team in preparing the PMP.
• Negotiate and prepare subcontracts and change orders.
• Prepare project schedule and milestones with the project superintendent.
• Manage procurement within budget and schedule constraints.
• Develop and monitor project quality, safety, and risk management plans.
• Coordinate with Estimating and cost accountants for payments and lien releases.
• Close out procedures and documentation.
